This course is a part of STREETJAM'S TV INTERN MEDIA ARTS PROGRAM. You may use this site here to register on-line (as an initial registration deposit of $425 is required to reserve your seat). A Final payment of $425 is due on or before the first day of Class. Students who successfully complete our entire program are eligible to apply for Internship Work with STREETJAM TELEVISION. This is Part 1 of a 4 Level Course. Satisfactory Completion of all 4 Levels is required in order to become eligible to apply for Internship / Work with STREETJAM TV. INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL NONLINEAR EDITING FOR VIDEO, TV & FILM WORKSHOP

Students learn basic principles, operations and applications of non-linear editing for Movies, Television and Video programming using a Media 100 Digital Nonlinear Editing System. Class sizes are limited to ensure "hands on" individual attention. This course includes:

* Launching the Media 100 application;
* Hardware settings and configurations;
* System preferences;
* Creating bins and projects;
* Setup for digitizing/Compression and Codec;
* Creating a program;
* Working with clips;
* Basic cuts, fades, wipes, transitions;
* Capturing audio;
* Audio pan and control levels;
* Creating basic titles/text / bullets;
* Creating, moving, Trimming & Rendering Transitions;
* Preparing files for Render;
* Preparing final output to DVD media;
* Closing and Re-Opening the Project.
