COURSE: REC401 Pre-Requisite: Successful completion of REC301. * $450 DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO REGISTER. * Deposit will be deducted from Course Cost. Payment in full or a $450 Deposit is required to register. The $450 Deposit will be deducted from Course Cost and a $450 balance will be due within 2 weeks of first class date. RECORDING STUDIO ENGINEERING WORKSHOP LEVEL FOUR This course is a part of STREETJAM'S TV INTERN MEDIA ARTS PROGRAM. Students who successfully complete our entire program are eligible to apply for Internship / Work with STREETJAM TELEVISION. This is Part 4 of a 4 Level Course. Satisfactory Completion of all 4 Levels is required in order to become eligible to apply for Internship / Work with STREETJAM TV. ADVANCED RECORDING STUDIO ENGINEERING FINAL MIXDOWN INTENSIVE LEVEL 4 Students learn basic and advanced principles, operations, and applications for Final Mixdowns of Digital Audio Recordings. Students will select 6 LIVE! Recording Songs and 6 MIDI/Computer Output Songs for Final Mixdown to (DAT) Digital Audio Tape and CD. Class sizes are limited to ensure maximum learning and intensive "hands on" training. Our Final Mixdown Intensive will include: * EQing of Individual Tracks; * Continued use of Signal Processing using a variety of Outboard and Computer Effects Gear such as: * Compressor/ Limiter/ Gates; * Tube Compressors; * Vocal Effects Processors: * Reverb, Hall FX, Chorus, etc; * Equalizers; * Instrument Effects: Reverb, Flange, etc; * Bottom Booster Techniques; * Final Track Compression & Aural Exciter; * Preparing for Master Output to CD; * Basic Mastering Techniques.
