FIRST POWER RECORDING STUDIO AUDIO ENGINEER
COURSE LEVEL II
Under
the direction of our Intern Media Division, we offer a wide range of
audio and video instructional classes at First Power Entertainments'
Intern Media School Program. Our classes are fully "hands
on" and are taught by working Media Professionals in a creative learning
environment. Our Recording Studio Audio Engineering Program
consists of 4 Levels of Courses. In Course Level II, students learn basic and advanced principles, operations and applications of Digital Audio Recording and Engineering for Live! Bands and Musical Instruments. Class sizes are limited to ensure maximum learning and intensive "hands on" training. Below is a general description of all

Engineering - Level
II Course.
Course Level II is a 10 Week Course. Classes are held 4 hours a day, 2 days a week.
Lab Projects are also required.

Velocity, Frequency and Loudness Levels
Proper Cables and Equipment for Live! Recording
Microphone Placement for Drums and Other Equipment
Routing Techniques from the Instrument to the Console
Routing Techniques from the Instrument to Digital Audio Workstation
Signal Processing, Separation of Tracks
Recording, Monitoring, Overdubs
Recording Group Vocals & Advanced Microphone Placement
Final Mixing: Equalization of Tracks
Final Mixing: Basic Introduction to the Compressor / Gate / Limiter
Final Mixing: Basic Vocal Effects & Processors
Final Song Mixing
Preparing Final Output to Various Formats
